Sneak Peek!

Hey everyone, hope you had an amazing weekend!! Today after much rescheduling, I was finally able to have my Tea Party (and the one Garden Party) Dress photo shoot for my Etsy shop!! Here's a sneak peek of the shoot!


I'm hoping to be able to put my shops back up soon, just waiting to make sure Canada Post is NOT going on strike. And then I will add some lovely summer dresses.

Remember Janis Joplin?

Remember this? A friend at work asked me to style her as Janis Joplin for a fundraising concert! Here's the look I came up with.




She's wearing:
-boots: thrifted
-tights: Joe
-Dress: thrifted maxi dress that I altered into a mini dress and shortened the long sleeve to 3/4 length
-crocheted poncho: thrifted
-bracelets: a beaded necklace wrapped around her wrist a few times
-Bottle cap shades: thrifted
-belt: Warehouse One

Garden Party

Hey! Just stopping by to show you a new dress design! This actually occurred from a mistake when making a Tea Party Dress, but I LOVE it. I added the bow as well because it needed something, and I think it's so fun. I'm calling it the Garden Party Dress :)

Why hello everyone! So sorry I haven't been around, for some reason I have been ridiculously busy and have not had the normal time to check back to all your blogs as of late, hopefully I can get to that soon! In the meantime, here is what I wore to church this morning-I know I look scowly when I'm squinting but I tried to smile this time!! I'm not angry, promise I'm not! :P

I also have pictures from a trip to the cabin that happened earlier this week which I will hopefully have to show you tomorrow!! Hope all you Canadians are enjoying the long weekend!!!

New headbands!

sorry for the lame blogging as of late, I've just had NO TIME to even sew and that makes me sad :(
On a happier note, I'm going to a cabin for a few days of much needed r&r. I'll hopefully be back with pictures!!

New Vintage!

Hello everyone! I've just put up some new items in my vintage shop this morning, some men's items! I've got my lovely boyfriend modelling for me, and I think he makes these clothes look REAL GOOD ;)

This beautiful camera bag from Jo Totes is on it's way to me!! I bought a new camera last week and of course I need a camera bag in which to put it!

I heard about Jo Totes on A Beautiful Mess when she was advertising this pretty tote bag
and then she did a giveaway for the Millie bag in sugar plum and I thought it was so pretty! SO. It had to be done and I can't wait to carry it around and feel all chic with a pretty camera bag :)
