I added the Style.com app to my iPod a few months ago and I LOVE it. I can see all the collections from top designers, watch fashion shows, vote on looks...it's fabulous. (No they did not ask me to write this-I like it that much!)
Last night I was looking through Spring 2012 Ready-to-wear collections and found Alice + Olivia. I love all their bright colors, retro hints and overall femininity. Here's some of my favorite looks from the collection
They also have some fantastic lookbook videos, this is for their fall 2011 collection
I love finding new designers to be inspired by! Have you found any lately?

Wore Stories: To Work
Today I knew I was going to be unpacking a big shipment, so I didn't step it up too much. Threw my hair into a french braid, pulled on some boots and voila.
Woo! Today, I am trying something NEW for my shop :D I can't tell you what it is yet, but once I've got a prototype I will let you know!

DIY: My Hair is a Bird's Next
Hey everyone, it's hairdo time!! A long time ago I found this tutorial for the bird's nest bun. I love it, I think it is so fun and probably one of my favorite up-dos. I haven't been able to make one so big yet, but I try.
So here's my tutorial for you!
1. Bend over. (Don't worry, there's more, silly!)
2. Put your hair in a super high ponytail, making sure to leave out whatever bangs you would like to have out of the ponytail.
3. Back comb sections of the ponytail-make sure you back comb all the way to the ends so that you get a lot of volume and fullness.
4. Wrap hair around ponytail like you would a bun-BUT-do it loosely so that you get a big bad bun instead a teeny weeny one. You maybe have to play around with it to get the shape you want.
*Optional-add cute hair accessories to the bottom 'corner' of the bun for some more pizzazz :)
Now go turn your hair into a bird's nest!

Weekend Update with Instagram
What a crazy weekend it was! As I mentioned in my last post, we spend most of this weekend shopping, and here's a few photos of my weekend compliments of Instagram :)
We started off with STARBUCKS (I really only have starbucks around Christmastime, we don't have a Starbucks where I live!). I got my favorite drink which is a mouthful. You ready? Tall decaf peppermint white mocha. Okay that wasn't as bad as you thought. It's FABULOUS. If you have never tried it-do yourself a favor! (And you don't have to go decaf like I did silly, I just can't have caffeine!) OH and there's a pumpkin scone there too :) mmmmmmm
This was not too shortly followed by lunch at Unburger oh.my.gosh. Wow. I think fiance said 'that was such a good burger' every ten minutes while we were driving after that ;)
If you go to the menu on their website, I got the afternoon delight with goat cheese. de-licious.
And these last few are just some randoms I took :)
Oh hi!
Hope your weekend was amazing!

Wore Stories: Shopping
Hello! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend :) I'm having an adventurous one. Yesterday me and the fiance headed into the city to do some wedding outfit shopping. Little did we know how busy traffic was going to be around the mall because of a football game going on at the nearby stadium. It was crazy! But we did eat at an AMAZING burger place (pictures coming!), and fiance got to try on a few things, he's gonna look FANTASTIC :) yay!
Here's what I wore on our excursion.

A Silly Time is a Good Time
Yesterday the man and I were going through our music to see what we want to use in our wedding! What started out as an innocent evening of music sampling turned into a silly dance party! I can't wait to marry this boy :D

Wore Stories: To Work
Oh hey everyone! :) I finally bought batteries for my old camera so I can start taking wardrobe pictures again! Yaaay! I'm starting out with one of my work outfits. I'm the manager of a fair trade store called Ten Thousand Villages and I like to try to keep it somewhat professional but also stylish! Here's what I wore yesterday.
Woo! I did it-my first outfit post in AGES. Let's party! What do you wear to work?
Thanks for reading :)

New items!
Hellos! This past weekend was Thanksgiving, it was good. I am turkey'd out. I had turkey 3 meals in a row. And there's leftovers in the fridge :P
On Monday I went to see 'The Help' with my fiance's sister (who also happens to be my lovely model) on Saturday-it was sooooooooo good. If you haven't seen it, you may want to.
Afterward we managed to fit in a photo shoot for some new items in the shop
More to come!
