Apparel Design

So I graduated from Apparel Design at the end of May and I was super excited to get my certificate in the mail!!!  I've been taking this class for 2 years and have had a wonderful time learning and strengthening my skills-I'm sad it's over but also very excited by what I have achieved!!! 

Now to make wonderful things....

Back to School: Ladies Wear

Some of you may know already that I'm taking Apparel Design at Red River College in the city!  It's been SO much fun, I'm sad this year is nearly over!

This last term we are faced with the challenge of designing original designs and following them to completion: Sketch the idea, create the pattern, sew the garment.  I'm so proud with how my first attempt turned out:

Next is kids wear, and I'm so excited to make clothing for my daring little niece!  Stay tuned....
